Job Title: Finance Manager Vickers Neal Recruitment are currently working with Elegant Clutter based in Warwick. Elegant Clutter specialise in creating bespoke art pieces for the interiors of commercial projects, offering an end-to-end service, designing, manufacturing and installing art in the UK and Europe. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager on a full-time permanent basis. This is a broad and challenging position where you will be required to cover duties for both Elegant Clutter and also their restaurant (The Art Kitchen) which is based on Swan Street in Warwick. In order to fulfil the essential requirements of the post it is imperative that you have proven experience relating to the following: General Ledgers – Accounts payable / receivable Credit control Cash receipts / payments / bank reconciliations Petty cash / employee expenses / company credit cards Costings Payroll Cash forecasting Month and Year End process VAT return preparation Dealing with internal and external queries Collaborate with the other department managers to support overall department goals and objectives Develop and implementation of new procedures/best practice to enhance the workflow and productivity of the department Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will have strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills, be able to multi-task and meet deadlines as well as the ability to communicate at all levels. This is a role for someone with passion and drive as well as the ambition to make this small but growing department their own. They must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast pace setting. Experience with Sage accounting system or similar is a must as is all the usual Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel. Due to the travel between Elegant Clutter and the Art Kitchen, you must have your own car.
