What you will need:
- Degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience with Altium Designer.
- Strong knowledge of analogue, digital, and RF PCB design.
- Proven ability to take designs from concept to manufacture.
- UK national, eligible for security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and produce production-ready PCB layouts and schematics using Altium Designer.
- Generate board designs from early-stage concepts through to full layouts and manufacturing data packs.
- Engage with PCB manufacturers to supply data and support the manufacturing process.
- Develop and test high-density mixed-signal PCB designs.
- Interface with software and mechanical teams to define data, power, and mechanical interfaces.
- Produce rapid-turnaround prototype boards and hand-soldered R&D builds.
- Provide guidance or line management for junior engineers, as required.
Your experience:
- PCB design for RF applications including signal isolation, impedance matching, and EMC shielding.
- Robust embedded platforms supporting high-speed DSP and SDR applications.
- Skilled in prototype testing, rework, and validation.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
