What you will need:

  • Degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • Extensive experience with Altium Designer.
  • Strong knowledge of analogue, digital, and RF PCB design.
  • Proven ability to take designs from concept to manufacture.
  • UK national, eligible for security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and produce production-ready PCB layouts and schematics using Altium Designer.
  • Generate board designs from early-stage concepts through to full layouts and manufacturing data packs.
  • Engage with PCB manufacturers to supply data and support the manufacturing process.
  • Develop and test high-density mixed-signal PCB designs.
  • Interface with software and mechanical teams to define data, power, and mechanical interfaces.
  • Produce rapid-turnaround prototype boards and hand-soldered R&D builds.
  • Provide guidance or line management for junior engineers, as required.

Your experience:

  • PCB design for RF applications including signal isolation, impedance matching, and EMC shielding.
  • Robust embedded platforms supporting high-speed DSP and SDR applications.
  • Skilled in prototype testing, rework, and validation.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
