You will get the exciting opportunity to shape and influence ecological outcomes on a range of development and nature recovery projects across the UK. In addition, you will take ownership of assessments, habitat design, and project delivery in a collaborative environment.
What you will need:
- Proven experience as an ecologist, with strong botanical and protected species survey skills
- Ability to deliver Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and ecological project management
- Membership of CIEEM or equivalent, with chartership achieved or attainable
- Full UK driving licence

- Undertake ecological assessments and habitat design across multiple projects
- Develop innovative and practical mitigation and compensation strategies
- Lead projects and mentor junior ecologists
- Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams and liaise with stakeholders
Your experience:
- Strong knowledge of biodiversity legislation, policy and good practice
- Competent in GIS or other geospatial applications
- Experience producing high-quality ecological reports and monitoring plans
- Project management from bidding through to completion
Where you will be based: Anywhere across the UK, hybrid working pattern. This is a permanent role.
