The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

You will get the exciting opportunity to shape and influence ecological outcomes on a range of development and nature recovery projects across the UK. In addition, you will take ownership of assessments, habitat design, and project delivery in a collaborative environment.

What you will need:

  • Proven experience as an ecologist, with strong botanical and protected species survey skills
  • Ability to deliver Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and ecological project management
  • Membership of CIEEM or equivalent, with chartership achieved or attainable
  • Full UK driving licence

  • Undertake ecological assessments and habitat design across multiple projects
  • Develop innovative and practical mitigation and compensation strategies
  • Lead projects and mentor junior ecologists
  • Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams and liaise with stakeholders

Your experience:

  • Strong knowledge of biodiversity legislation, policy and good practice
  • Competent in GIS or other geospatial applications
  • Experience producing high-quality ecological reports and monitoring plans
  • Project management from bidding through to completion

Where you will be based: Anywhere across the UK, hybrid working pattern. This is a permanent role.
