What You Will Be Doing
- Design analogue, digital and RF electronic systems for advanced technology applications.
- Develop schematics, PCB layouts and manufacturing data for mixed signal hardware.
- Support prototype development, board bring-up, testing and design validation activities.
- Work closely with software, mechanical and project teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Contribute to technical reviews, customer discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Take designs from early concepts through to manufactured products.
Your Experience
- Experience designing mixed signal PCBs for commercial applications.
- Good understanding of EMC, grounding, power integrity and PCB layout best practice.
- Proven debugging, fault-finding and hardware validation experience.
- Practical prototype assembly, soldering and rework skills.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and engineering records.
- Experience with RF, embedded systems, FPGA development or software defined radio technologies would be advantageous.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- Commercial electronic hardware design experience within a consultancy or product development environment.
- Strong analogue and digital circuit design capability.
- Experience using Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
Salary
Β£40-70k per annum dependent upon experience
