You will take ownership of shaping and controlling complex defence programmes, while building depth in planning and assurance across high-value environments. This role gives you visibility, progression and the chance to develop long-term programme expertise. You will work where strong planning directly influences delivery outcomes.

What you will need:

  • British nationality is required and applicants must have been born in the UK.
  • Experience working on UK defence programmes or within defence delivery environments.
  • Strong project planning and scheduling capability using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools.
  • Understanding of regulated programme governance and assurance expectations.

Salary and rewards:

£50,000 to £70,000 plus car allowance.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing and maintaining integrated project schedules across the full lifecycle of defence programmes.
  • Analysing critical paths, dependencies, progress and forecast positions to support delivery decisions.
  • Supporting programme planning activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Integrating schedule data with cost and risk inputs to provide a clear delivery picture.
  • Producing planning insight to support governance reviews and senior decision making.

Your experience:

  • Background in project planning or project controls within complex or regulated environments.
  • Practical experience using Primavera P6 or comparable planning software.
  • Exposure to defence, infrastructure, engineering or major programme delivery contexts.
  • Ability to communicate planning insight clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams while owning planning outputs.

Where you will be based:

Bristol with a hybrid working pattern and travel as required. Due to the nature of work at our client’s site, these vacancies are only open to British Citizens who can obtain Security Check clearance. This is a permanent role.
