What you will need:
- Experience working in project delivery or project controls environments, with a strong background in risk management.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining risk registers, including identifying, assessing and managing threats and opportunities.
- Experience supporting major infrastructure projects and working with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present risk information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Your role:
- Develop and maintain robust project risk registers to support effective decision-making across infrastructure programmes.
- Facilitate risk workshops, capture key risks and opportunities and support teams in developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Analyse project risks, dependencies and impacts to improve delivery confidence and programme outcomes.
- Produce clear risk reporting for a range of stakeholders.
- Support the integration of risk processes across complex project environments.
Your experience:
- Strong knowledge of risk management tools such as Active Risk Manager (ARM), processes and techniques.
- Experience working with project controls disciplines including change management and commercial considerations.
- Ability to challenge assumptions, identify risks and develop practical solutions.
- Confident working independently while collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
- Experience operating within regulated or complex infrastructure environments is beneficial.
- Relevant qualifications or professional development in project management, risk or related disciplines are advantageous.

Where you will work:
The company can base this role in any of the following locations: Gloucester, Cambridge or Birmingham. If you are not based here, they will offer a work from home contract with travel to client sites covered by them. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement.
