Take ownership of calibrating, servicing and repairing complex test equipment, mentoring colleagues, and resolving technical challenges. Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Location: Bolton

Working: On-site, 5 days per week

Clearance: SC eligible/current

Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintain Electrical and Electronic Test Equipment, including Special to Type Test Equipment
  • Conduct calibrations, drift analysis, fault finding and repairs to component level
  • Support assembly, integration and test processes across manufacturing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve routine and non-routine issues
  • Ensure compliance with engineering procedures and quality standards

Experience:

  • HNC/HND in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of calibration principles and test equipment maintenance
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, handbooks and specifications
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Effective communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with SAP and environmental chambers advantageous
