This opportunity is for an experienced Project Planner to play a key role in shaping delivery. The role will suit individuals who enjoy working with complex schedules, applying analytical skills and ensuring programme information is both accurate and actionable.
Technical scope
- Building and maintaining integrated schedules across varied workstreams
- Testing schedule quality and highlighting risks or inconsistencies to project leadership
- Supporting baseline planning activities and applying recognised planning principles
- Assessing forecasts and costs to go, contributing to reliable EAC reviews
- Applying critical path and schedule risk analysis to inform decision making
- Supporting new bids and proposals with sound planning input
Methods and tools
- Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate capability in structuring projects using WBS, CBS and OBS frameworks
- Producing and interpreting project performance data covering schedule, resource and cost
- Using planning and controls software such as Primavera P6, ARM, SAP or Oracle tools
- Applying change control and baseline management techniques
- Experience with earned value management, resource-loaded schedules or risk and opportunity analysis will be an advantage.
Working environment
