Summary Take ownership of secure network architecture across complex defence programmes where your technical decisions influence critical environments from concept through to delivery.

This is an opportunity to broaden your architectural influence, work across high assurance systems and develop expertise in secure infrastructure, network security and emerging cloud technologies within a highly regulated setting.

Location and Setup Full-time role in Hertfordshire with hybrid working (2-3 days a week onsite) What You Will Be Doing Designing secure network architectures that support complex business and operational requirements.

Providing architectural leadership throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility through to implementation and operational handover.

Defining network security approaches, standards and architectural roadmaps across a range of projects and environments.

Working closely with security specialists, network operations teams, infrastructure engineers and technical stakeholders to ensure resilient solutions are delivered.

Facilitating technical workshops, architecture reviews and design discussions to achieve agreement across multiple stakeholder groups.

Evaluating new technologies and contributing to the adoption of modern infrastructure and cloud based capabilities where appropriate.

Supporting secure network environments across different classifications and operational requirements.

Contributing to both strategic architectural initiatives and project specific technical challenges.

What you will Need Strong background in network architecture, design and network security.

Understanding of secure network infrastructure within regulated or high assurance environments.

Knowledge of network technologies, security controls, segmentation and secure connectivity principles.

Appreciation of cloud adoption strategies and the challenges of integrating cloud services within secure environments.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience leading design reviews, governance discussions and technical decision making.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build consensus across multiple teams.

Comfortable operating within large, multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed organisations.

Able to balance technical risk, business requirements and security considerations when developing solutions.

Motivated by continuous learning and professional development within a technically demanding environment.

Essential Requirements British Citizen able to obtain and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.

Proven experience in network architecture and the design of secure network environments.

Strong understanding of network security principles, controls and technologies.

Ability to lead technical discussions, architectural reviews and design workshops with a range of stakeholders.

Experience working with engineering, security, operational or customer facing teams within complex technical environments.

What Is in It for You Salary in the region of £65,000, depending on experience.

Alongside of this, you will receive: Annual performance related bonus of up to 21% of salary.
