You will deliver large-scale PLC and SCADA solutions across various cutting-edge defence projects.

About the Role:
  • Capture and develop customer requirements.
  • Specify, design and test solutions for PLC control systems and develop PLC software from multiple design formats such as Block Diagrams, Flow Charts or Pseudo Code.
  • Validate software designs through analysis and testing.
  • Produce technical documentation in accordance with company/customer procedures.
About You:
  • Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic engineering or a related discipline.
  • Design and integration of large-scale PLC Control Systems in a highly regulated sector, such as defence, aerospace, maritime, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals or similar.
  • Experience with PLC Control Systems based on Siemens Products (e.g. Step 7 Professional Classic or Siemens TIA Portal).
  • Experience of Fault Tolerant, High Availability and Safety Integrated PLC Solutions.
  • Experience with Industrial Communication protocols and networking standards.
  • You must be a sole British Citizen to be eligible for this role due to high level security clearance.
  • Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore, these vacancies are only open to sole British Nationals.
  • Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.

This is a permanent position.
