We are supporting a leading defence organisation in recruiting a Systems Proving Engineer for naval air defence programmes. This role focuses on planning, executing, and analysing system integration and live trials. The successful candidate will work closely with design and systems teams to ensure trial objectives are met and design issues are resolved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, generate, and execute laboratory, ground, harbour, sea, and firing trials
- Liaise with engineering teams to ensure adequate trial data and resolve design issues
- Prepare, deliver, and follow up on trial readiness reviews
- Conduct post-trial analysis and reporting
- Support lab management including risk assessments, asset management, and safety compliance
- Maintain hardware and software configuration control
- Experience in system integration, design proving, or naval integration
- Trials planning and execution across multiple environments
- System assessment, verification, and acceptance
- Electrical, mechanical, or electronic interfacing experience
- Strong communication with internal teams, partners, and suppliers
- MBSE tools (DOORS, Rhapsody, RTC)
- Python or other coding experience
- Lab management and safety knowledge
- Company and Personal Performance-based bonus
