You will get the exciting opportunity to take ownership of BIM model development and lead design delivery for high-value electrical substation projects. In addition, you will shape processes and influence project outcomes across Transmission and Distribution networks.
What you will need:
- Right to work in the UK
- Proven leadership of design teams in Front-End Engineering Design or Detailed Design for electrical substations
- Experience delivering CAD/BIM models across multiple disciplines, including clash detection and coordination
What you will work on:
- Lead development of 3D BIM models and 2D drawings for complex projects
- Manage BIM strategy, standards compliance, and team performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders internally and externally, sometimes at client sites
- Deliver technical leadership across Transmission and Distribution sector projects
Your experience:
- Degree or diploma in engineering design, drafting or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with software such as Revit, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD 2D, ReCap Pro
- Ability to deliver technically compliant designs to BS 8888 and client standards
- Track record in high-hazard industrial projects including energy infrastructure
- Skilled at prioritising tasks under tight deadlines
- Experience building and developing CAD/BIM teams
Where you will be based:
The role can be based at various sites across the UK as the company has offices across the UK. The role can also be offered on a fully remote basis.
Salary: Up to 65K plus benefits. This is a permanent role.
