You will take ownership of projects that strengthen manufacturing capability, giving you clear scope to improve assets, systems and site infrastructure. This role offers direct responsibility for delivering practical upgrades that support safe, efficient aerospace production. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Essential requirements
- Background in project engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to manage asset acquisition, commissioning and system integration
- Familiarity with safety systems such as Permit to Work and Risk Assessments
Your role
- Deliver projects from scoping through to handover with clear control of time, cost and quality
- Lead asset acquisition, installation and commissioning with minimal operational disruption
- Manage the implementation of new software and hardware systems
- Plan and coordinate infrastructure improvements across facilities and utilities
- Produce technical documentation, including User Requirement Specifications and Gantt plans
- Maintain project governance and support continuous improvement
Your experience
- HNC in engineering, manufacturing or project management or equivalent
- Proven experience delivering engineering projects in a regulated production setting
- Strong understanding of technical documentation and lifecycle management
- Ability to coordinate suppliers, contractors and internal teams
- Skilled in project planning tools and scheduling techniques
