Play a crucial role in the development of high-quality test systems used in the defence sector as a Test Equipment Architect. This leading defence company that produces military weapons systems will reward your hard work significantly with bonuses, annual salary reviews and paid overtime among other benefits. You will become the Test Equipment Architect specialising in the System Design of Test Equipment for missile and missile sub systems, plus occasionally missile or weapon system simulators. About the Role: • Provide guidance on the Test Equipment Requirements and advise customers • Disseminate requirements into a system design (produce Architecture Design Documents) • Ensure the developed test system meets its system requirement About You: • Experience of Test Equipment Design, obtained over multiple projects • Knowledge of Test Equipment Software, or software techniques and methods • Knowledge of Systems Engineering approaches, ability to spot poor requirements • Knowledge of Design For Test aspects, and able to guide and inform the Test Architects/IVLs • General knowledge of, and preferably a specialism in one of the following: Metrology, RF, Digital or Analogue Design, Power electronics, computing, Cyber or FPGA design Key Information: • Role: Test Equipment Architect • Salary: Circa £60,000 Plus Bonus and Benefits • Location: Stevenage – Hybrid – 2 Days Per Week On-Site • Eligibility: Must Hold British Citizenship Due to Security Requirements (See More Below) Key Skills: Test equipment design, defence, test equipment software, design for test, systems requirements Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client’s site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens.
