Supply Chain Lead Are you a Supply Chain Lead or a Senior Buyer with a background in contract management and procurement? Join a leading centre of excellence in the defence sector, working within a small, collaborative team. We\’re seeking a pragmatic professional to help shape and implement supply chain processes. This is a key role where you will be an integral part of the team, responsible for the full procurement lifecycle and managing relationships with a UK-based supplier network. You\’ll take ownership of supplier performance, lead competitive exercises, and negotiate new agreements. This is a senior-level individual contributor position with no direct reports, ideal for someone who thrives on process improvement and hands-on operational delivery. The role offers a hybrid working pattern with a compressed fortnight option. Responsibilities include: Supplier identification, negotiation and implementation of agreements, proactive supplier relationship management, and ensuring on-time delivery at best value. We\’re looking for: A proven track record in subcontract management and procurement, a strong understanding of contract law, and experience building robust supplier relationships.
