Supply Chain Lead We are seeking a Supply Chain Lead to join a sovereign software and systems centre of excellence. This role is a key part of the Supply Chain team, focusing on managing the procurement lifecycle and supplier relationships for a UK-based network. You will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain processes while ensuring programme schedules and budgets are met. This is a senior buyer level position with no direct reports. We are looking for an experienced and pragmatic professional who is happy to work within a small team environment, contribute to process development and take ownership of supplier relationships. The role offers a hybrid working model with flexibility and a compressed fortnight schedule. Responsibilities Provide senior support to programmes through supplier identification and strategy. Lead competitive exercises to ensure best value and on-time delivery. Negotiate and implement agreements with appropriate customer flow-downs. Proactively manage supplier price and availability. Monitor and manage obsolescence or other supply chain issues. Ensure supplier performance measurement activities are maintained. Skills and Experience Demonstrable experience in a supply chain function. Proven track record of success in negotiating and managing subcontracts. Strong understanding of contract and subcontract law. Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. Qualified to a degree level in a relevant subject is desirable. Salary and Location This permanent role offers a salary of £47,400 to £58,000 per annum. The position is based in New Malden or Greater London with a hybrid working pattern (circa 3 days per week on-site).
