Do you want to develop real-world simulations and modelling tools critical to high-value defence systems? This role offers the scope to deliver current complex weapon programmes while shaping the future of Electro-Optical capability. You will join a small, multi-disciplinary team and influence the evolution of industry-leading scene generation toolsets.
Essential requirements
- Must be a British Citizen.
- Strong background in physics, software development, modelling or gaming engine development.
- Proven systems engineering and project management capabilities.
- Experience or appreciation for lean/agile methods and software development tools such as version control and continuous integration.
Your role
- Lead the delivery of multiple concurrent physical modelling projects in small, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Develop high volume simulation capabilities for weapon systems, missiles and sub-systems.
- Deliver modelling and simulation of the world observed by Electro-Optical (EO) sensors for real-time integration and test.
- Contribute to the continuous broadening and evolution of the scene generation toolset for future programme needs.
