Location: Stevenage (preferred), Bristol or Bolton – hybrid working (3–5 days a week on-site)
Support the development of sophisticated algorithms, simulations and sensor technologies that play a critical role in delivering advanced defence capability. You will contribute to multiple programmes, support field trials and laboratory testing, and develop your technical expertise alongside experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain models and simulations using MATLAB and related tools
- Support algorithm development for advanced defence systems
- Perform systems studies, data analysis and technical investigations
- Contribute to field trials, laboratory testing and continuous improvement activities
Requirements:
- Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent engineering experience
- Experience with modelling and coding using MATLAB
- Knowledge of algorithm development and data analysis
- Strong technical report writing and problem-solving skills
- British Citizens eligible for high-level security clearance
Desirable Experience:
- Simulink and Embedded Coder experience
- Software or firmware development, particularly C or HDL
- Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing
- Model verification, configuration control and release processes
- Continuous Integration and Testing
