You will get the exciting opportunity to join a team delivering high-impact nuclear safety solutions with genuine scope to grow. Apply your expertise to civil and naval nuclear safety cases in a supportive, technically rigorous environment.
What you will need:
- British Citizen
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline
- Knowledge of Nuclear Authorising Conditions or Licensing Conditions
- Strong customer focus and ability to develop creative commercial strategies
Salary and rewards: £75,000–£90,000 per annum, with flexible hybrid working pattern.
Your role:
- Develop nuclear safety justification strategies
- Perform hazard and risk analyses including Deterministic, Probabilistic and Severe Accident Safety Assessment
- Derive and demonstrate compliance with nuclear safety requirements
- Lead development of safety cases and risk management plans
- Conduct independent safety assurance reviews and periodic system/facility safety reviews
- Liaise with regulators and collaborate with clients and partners
Your experience:
- Technical capability: extensive experience in nuclear safety, safety case development and risk assessment
- Behavioural capability: ability and willingness to support and develop others, strong communication and client engagement skills
