Electus Recruitment is seeking an FPGA Engineer - Consultant to join a dynamic SME that is part of a larger group of companies poised for significant growth. As an Experienced FPGA Engineer, you will be at the forefront of the innovation race to help, defend and protect the UK from the latest technological and cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- As an FPGA Consultant, you will tackle diverse, real-world challenges from the ground up.
- You will capture, design, develop, document, test, and deliver through to the prototype production.
Requirements
- Demonstrable relevant experience working in FPGA firmware development (in VHDL or Verilog, using a toolchain such as Vivado / Quartus).
- A proven track record of design and implementation of technological solutions.
- Experience in any of the following is desirable:
- DSP/system modelling in MATLAB/Simulink
- Electronics development
- Embedded software development (typically with C/C++ and Linux expertise)
- RADAR or communications applications
- Software Defined Radios (SDRs)
Due to the nature of work undertaken by our client, incumbents of these positions are required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK Security Vetting.
