You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising mechanical components and assemblies using advanced CAD software.

About the Role:

• Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, stress and other analyses along with documentation to support manufacturing, R&D and product development.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, software, production, and quality, to ensure designs meet functional, safety, and performance requirements.

• Support prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical components.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Extensive experience in mechanical design, proficient in using 3D CAD Autodesk Inventor, Volt and engineering analysis software tools.

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including machine design, mechanics and thermodynamics.

• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles.

• Role: Mechanical CAD Engineer

• Salary: £42,000–£45,000

• Location: Upton, Poole, Dorset

• On-site during the probationary period, hybrid after – 3 days in the office, 2 days at home

• Eligibility: right to work in the UK – CANNOT offer sponsorship
