What you will be doing:
- Lead and support commercial activity across established programmes and emerging opportunities.
- Shape and apply commercial strategies that balance value creation, risk management and delivery commitments.
- Manage contractual change, variations and negotiations across the full contract lifecycle.
- Act as a senior commercial interface for customer relationships, dispute resolution and governance matters.
- Support bid activity, proposals and business cases with robust commercial and financial insight.
- Work closely with finance and delivery teams to support cash collection, invoicing and reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across commercial processes and ways of working.
What you will need:
- Demonstrable experience managing large and complex contracts across their full lifecycle.
- Strong commercial negotiation capability within aerospace, defence or similarly regulated technical environments.
- Proven ability to manage programme level financial performance, risk and commercial governance.
- Senior commercial management experience within aerospace or a comparable high compliance sector.
- Strong background in negotiating, drafting and managing complex contractual frameworks.
- Solid financial and commercial acumen including risk and opportunity management.
- Confident engaging and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret technical, financial and contractual information and turn it into practical decisions.
- Collaborative and pragmatic approach when working within cross functional teams.
This permanent role offers a salary in the range of £70,000 to £75,000 depending on experience and depth of responsibility taken on.
