We are supporting a major regulatory organisation in the search for Electrical Control & Engineering Specialists to join a specialist team focused on electrical safety, control systems integrity, risk management and legal compliance across high hazard industries.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Electrical, Controls, E&I or ICSS Engineers looking to apply their technical expertise in a role centred on investigation, assurance, governance and improving safety standards.
You will apply your experience and knowledge of Electrical Distribution Systems and Complex control systems to identify risk and underlying issues on site across a wide range of industries (often from first principles).
- Investigating serious electrical and control systems incidents and identifying root causes
- Inspecting industrial sites and assessing the effectiveness of risk management and safety controls
- Producing technical reports and providing specialist support during legal proceedings and investigations
- Influencing organisations to improve compliance, reduce risk and enhance electrical and control systems safety
Experienced with PLC-based automation and industrial controls in industries such as utilities, power, oil and gas, chemicals, manufacturing or other major hazard environments.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
Civil Service pension with 28.97% employer contribution, hybrid working, 25-30 days annual leave, professional development, etc.
This is a permanent role.
