Join a team delivering robust configuration control and engineering data integrity across complex product lifecycles with clear scope to grow. In this role you will contribute to programmes involving drones and uncrewed aerial systems within a highly controlled engineering environment. Your work will help ensure that every configuration, bill of materials and engineering change linked to these platforms is accurately controlled across PLM, CAD and ERP systems. This directly supports the integrity, reliability and traceability of complex airborne systems as they move from design through to production.

This is a hands‑on role focused on how engineering data is structured, controlled and released across interconnected systems. You will act as the key point of control for bill of materials integrity and engineering change flow across PLM, CAD and ERP environments. You will also play a central role in shaping how the wider design platform is structured, defining how data, parts and configurations are organised and maintained as the business scales. The role combines governance with detailed execution, requiring close involvement in day‑to‑day configuration activity as well as longer‑term process definition.

What you will need:

  • British citizenship is required due to the nature of the work
  • Strong experience managing complex, multi-level bills of materials in regulated engineering environments
  • Hands‑on experience administering PLM systems such as Arena, Windchill, Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE or Aras
  • Demonstrable experience with configuration management including revision control, effectivity and ECO or ECN workflows
  • Experience working across PLM, ERP and CAD systems with strong data alignment discipline

This role is available on both a permanent and contract basis. The company is offering a lucrative package.

Your role:

  • Own bill of materials integrity across the full product lifecycle
  • Manage engineering change from assessment through to controlled release across PLM, ERP and CAD systems
  • Ensure configuration consistency across systems, resolving discrepancies at source
  • Support and define the structure of the wider design platform including data, naming and configuration standards
  • Run and maintain codification and serialisation processes across projects
  • Act as a key interface with quality teams on NCRs and configuration related issues

Your experience:

  • Strong PLM administration background, ideally with Arena or similar enterprise systems
  • Deep understanding of configuration management principles and engineering change control
  • Experience supporting design engineering teams with BOM structuring and release readiness
  • Exposure to production lifecycle optimisation and change traceability
  • Experience working with quality processes including NCRs and first article inspection
  • Comfortable operating in detailed, hands‑on technical environments

Benefits and flexibility:

Rewards extend beyond pay with hybrid working, private healthcare, enhanced leave options, pension support and structured training and development. The organisation also supports long‑term career progression within a growing engineering environment.

Where you will work:

The role offers hybrid working and will be based in London, with approximately three days on site and two days remote each week. Some additional travel may be required depending on project needs.

Legal and Equality:

Due to the nature of work at our client’s site, these vacancies are only open to British Citizens.
