Join a specialist project consultancy in a senior planning role where you will take ownership of schedules within complex client programmes. You will work from home when not required on site. The role will involve regular travel to client locations so you will need to be comfortable working independently, building trusted client relationships and adapting to different delivery environments.

What you will be doing:

  • Creating, maintaining and controlling detailed project schedules
  • Taking ownership of schedule quality, accuracy and integrity
  • Establishing and maintaining schedule baselines
  • Carrying out resource loading and cost loading
  • Managing dependencies, milestones and critical path activity
  • Working with project stakeholders to gather updates and challenge incomplete or unrealistic inputs
  • Producing clear planning information to support reporting and decision-making
  • Using Primavera P6 as part of day-to-day planning activity

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive project planning and scheduling experience
  • Clear experience owning and maintaining project schedules
  • Practical experience using Primavera P6
  • Experience of baselining, resource loading and cost loading
  • A good understanding of schedule dependencies, milestones and critical path analysis
  • The confidence to work directly with clients in a consultancy environment
  • A relevant qualification such as APM Fundamentals, MRICS or P6 Practitioner would be desirable
  • Willingness to travel to client sites when required
  • Sole British nationality

You do not need to be a highly technical P6 specialist. You must understand how to use the tool and be able to show practical experience applying it within a planning role.

Salary and benefits:

  • Salary of £60,000 to £75,000 with flexibility for an exceptional candidate
  • Bonus of up to 10%
  • 7.5% matched pension contribution
  • Home-based working when not required at a client site
  • Support towards further commercial and role-relevant qualifications
  • Development opportunities covering areas such as P6, NEC, APM and APMG Project Planning and Control
