Develop new and innovative electronic solutions to address complex customer requirements in the defence sector. You will be well-rewarded at this established defence company that produces military weapons systems with bonuses, annual salary reviews, paid overtime and so forth.
About the Role:
- Act as a design team representative to interface with the design and manufacturing teams to transition the product from the development phase into series manufacture.
- Work with manufacturing on process and capability issues and support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise production yields.
- Support non-conformance management, dealing with design queries.
- Support obsolescence management by providing recommendations to the design team.
Requirements:
- Strong Electronic Engineer with a background in RF engineering.
- Detailed knowledge of RF assembly and test procedures would be advantageous.
- Ability to investigate and resolve production problems.
- Multidisciplinary team experience, working with both the design and manufacturing teams, supporting project changes efficiently and maintaining the production schedule.
- British Citizen eligible for high-level security clearance.
