The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will work on leading programs in the public sector, using your passion for leading technologies to make a genuine impact on citizens. You will bring hands-on experience to design and deliver various technology business solutions, working end-to-end from high-level government individuals through to delivery. You will be a technical leader, utilising your knowledge of technology and architecture to support and lead cross-government teams.
You will have:
- Experience in leading teams, particularly development and architecture teams.
- Experience developing professional services business, such as consultancy, technical services, and system integration.
- Experience across Public Services, with a preference for central government.
- A consistent track record in providing technical leadership in areas including application, business, and integration architectures.
- Comfort across all architecture domains and specialisation in at least one of:
- Architecture domain (e.g., Applications, Information, Integration)
- Business domain
- Technologies/vendors (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Microservices vs. Packaged Solutions
- Cloud vs. On-premise
- Digital transformation enablement
- Cloud architectures (e.g., experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
- Broad span of vendors (e.g., IBM, Oracle, Salesforce, AWS)
- The architect’s role in agile delivery
- Internet of Things
