Location and Setup
Bristol-based, hybrid working with a blend of office, home and client site activity. Other sites and locations are feasible for experienced candidates. This is a permanent, full-time role.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead C&I and functional safety activities from concept through to implementation and commissioning.
- Support the development of control systems, safety systems and innovative engineering solutions.
- Work across Engineering Consultancy projects within highly regulated and safety critical sectors.
- Manage technical deliverables, budgets, schedules and stakeholder engagement.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to the growth of technical capability.
Your Experience
- Degree qualified in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of process control systems and associated engineering documentation.
- Experience applying standards such as IEC 61508, IEC 61511, ISO 13849, DO-178 or DO-254.
- Knowledge of quality management processes aligned to ISO 9001.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to provide guidance, mentoring and technical direction to engineering teams.
- Strong background in control and instrumentation engineering within safety critical environments.
- Experience delivering functional safety solutions aligned to recognised industry standards.
- Proven technical leadership experience on engineering projects.
- Client-facing consultancy or stakeholder management experience.
Your Package
