Take technical ownership of complex aircraft systems and influence how maintenance decisions are made on the line. You will use your B2 licence to certify, guide others and deepen your system authority within a regulated aerospace environment.

Location and setup: Bournemouth. This is a fully onsite role with travel for detachment periods as operationally required.

What you will be doing:

  • Certifying avionic and electrical maintenance activities in accordance with approved data
  • Providing technical guidance and oversight to engineering teams on shift
  • Supporting aircraft operations at main base and detached locations
  • Maintaining accurate technical records and certification documentation
  • Deputising for senior engineers when required and contributing to engineering decisions
  • Driving safety reporting, compliance and continuous improvement practices

Your experience:

  • Aircraft avionic systems maintenance experience on complex platforms
  • Confidence supervising tasks and mentoring other engineers
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance documentation and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining safety and quality standards
  • Clear communication skills and a proactive engineering approach
