An established, global consultancy is growing its UK-based team and is seeking Senior Business Case Consultants to join its expanding Business Consulting & Transformation practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced consultants with a strong background in project management, business analysis, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality HM Treasury Green Book-standard Business Cases.

As a Senior Consultant, the successful candidate will work with high-profile clients across key sectors including Defence, Aerospace, Security, and the wider Public Sector. The role offers the chance to take on significant responsibility from day one, contributing to impactful public sector projects and leading multidisciplinary teams through the full lifecycle of business case development and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end development of complex business cases, aligning with strategic goals, evaluating delivery options, and ensuring governance compliance.
  • Manage client relationships at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor and project lead.
  • Guide business cases through assurance and approvals processes.
  • Produce high-quality reports and deliver impactful presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Support business development efforts including bid writing, proposal development, and client presentations.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and the creation of intellectual property for the Business Case team.
About you:
  • A demonstrable background in business case development, including drafting to HM Treasury Green Book standards.
  • Strong experience in one or more relevant disciplines: project/programme management, business change, procurement, or commercial analysis.
  • Experience working within or alongside government or public sector clients.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Hold DV Clearance.
