You will be responsible for both high-level architectural and low-level detailed design and verification of sophisticated control and guidance algorithms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on complex algorithm development across the whole lifecycle, from early research to development and trials
- Influence the design and testing of sophisticated missile navigation systems
- Collaborate with various departments and directorates across multiple projects/programmes
About You:
- Extensive experience in complex algorithm development and implementation, real-time architecture and verification
- Computer modelling and simulation using MATLAB and Simulink
- Knowledge of guidance, control and navigation algorithms
- Degree or equivalent in a physics/maths-dominated subject; a PhD would be a bonus
- Able to communicate difficult information clearly and influence technical decision-making
- British Citizens only due to high-level security clearance requirements
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Nationals. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
