You will join a multidisciplinary systems engineering team supporting the development, delivery and certification of a complex defence system. The role is focused on analysing technical evidence, demonstrating compliance against requirements and supporting certification activities through to customer delivery.
Key responsibilitiesCapture, review and assess technical evidence against system and functional requirementsConduct technical investigations and identify verification gapsSupport the preparation and review of compliance documentation, verification reports and certification evidenceReview technical documentation supporting functional evidenceReview and agree Design Verification PlansSupport design reconciliation activities associated with design changes and obsolescenceTrack verification issues and support corrective actionsWork collaboratively across systems, mechanical, electrical, software and other engineering disciplinesIdentify opportunities to improve engineering processes through more efficient working practices and automationAbout you You will have experience in a systems engineering, verification, validation or certification environment, with a strong analytical approach and the ability to assess technical evidence against defined requirements. Ideally, you will bring: Experience using IBM Rational DOORS ClassicExperience analysing evidence and assessing compliance against requirementsKnowledge of Verification and Validation (V&V) processes and methodologiesExperience producing or reviewing compliance documentation and certification evidenceThe ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teamsStrong attention to detail and structured problem-solving skillsThis is an opportunity to work on technically challenging systems where your work will directly contribute to demonstrating compliance, supporting certification and enabling successful customer delivery.
