You will take ownership of proving advanced defence systems through complex electromagnetic environments, ensuring they perform reliably under extreme conditions. This is a hands-on role where you shape how critical systems are tested and validated from early trials through to formal certification.
What you will need:
- Experience in EMC, RF, electronics or closely related engineering environments
- Hands-on background in testing, validation or proving of complex systems
- Understanding of electromagnetic compatibility principles and test methods
- Experience working with technical stakeholders in controlled test environments
What you will work on:
- Designing and developing test setups to support EMC and RF proving activities
- Leading readiness activities ensuring test equipment, safety and documentation are in place
- Coordinating hardware, software and facilities for structured test campaigns
- Running hands-on trials within specialist EMC chambers and test environments
- Capturing and analysing detailed test data to support system verification
- Producing formal technical reports to support certification and qualification
Skills and experience:
- Strong understanding of EMC behaviour, emissions and susceptibility
- Practical experience working with test equipment in structured engineering environments

Benefits and flexibility:
You will enjoy practical benefits including company bonus up to £2,500, pension contributions up to 14 percent, paid overtime, flexi leave up to 15 days and flexible working arrangements.
Where you will work:
Bristol with hybrid working, typically four to five days per week on site due to the nature of testing activities, with occasional travel to other UK locations.
Due to the nature of work at our client’s site, these vacancies are only open to British Citizens who can obtain and maintain SC clearance. This is a permanent role.
