My client, a world leader in the defence sector, requires an Analogue and Digital Electronic Design Engineer to join their Analogue and Digital Electronics Group, developing and delivering electronic designs for their defence products.
Role Overview
We are seeking a permanent engineer to design, develop and deliver board-level analogue and digital electronics. The role involves schematic capture, prototyping, functional testing and proving activities, as well as working with other teams on the integration of electronics into the product. You will apply circuit simulation and DFMEA techniques to ensure robust electronics design and support the product lifecycle from feasibility to production.

Requirements
- Qualifications in Electronic Engineering, such as HND or degree level
- Experience in electronic design and development
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, supporting and resolving manufacturing issues and helping implement Design for Manufacture improvements into the design.
- The ability to investigate and find Root Causes of design related issues and suggest corrective actions.
- Knowledge of a range of electronic technologies
- Ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams
Location: Bolton, Lancashire
Hybrid working: Circa 3-4 days on-site
Salary: Up to £48,000 (based on experience) plus paid overtime, flexi leave, annual bonus and other benefits.
