Antenna Design Engineer
Join a leading defence environment to develop next-generation antenna technology. This role covers the design and development of novel antennas for multi-mode seekers, applying wideband active and passive sensors and additive manufacturing techniques.
You will perform electromagnetic modelling in Ansys HFSS, run complex simulations, process data in MATLAB, and support hardware testing through to pre-production. The role involves close collaboration with RF, Seeker Systems and Sensor teams.
We are looking for candidates with antenna design and development experience, knowledge of tools such as Ansys HFSS or CST Studio, understanding of microwave frequencies (UHF and in excess of X-band) and proficiency in MATLAB. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is required, alongside strong communication skills.
Salary circa £55,000 depending on experience. Hybrid working pattern, typically four days per week on site.
Due to the nature of work at our client’s site, these vacancies are only open to British Citizens who hold or can obtain SC clearance before starting, with progression to DV thereafter.
This is a permanent role.
