A Quality Engineer in Advanced Electronics Manufacturing will join a new UK electronics manufacturing operation at an early stage, helping shape how quality is embedded across products, processes and the wider business. Your work will be visible, your ideas will matter, and your impact will be measurable.

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing quality systems and procedures
  • Investigate defects and lead root cause analysis using 5 Whys, Fishbone and CAPA
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to stop issues recurring
  • Analyse quality data and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support incoming, in-process and final inspection activities
  • Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve product and process quality
  • Support New Product Introduction from a quality perspective
  • Investigate customer complaints and prepare quality responses
  • Support internal, customer and regulatory audits
  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues

What we require:

  • Experience within quality, manufacturing or engineering
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards
  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing corrective and preventive actions
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation control
  • Confident communication across technical and operational teams
  • Experience within electronics, aerospace, defence, automotive or another regulated industry would be advantageous.
