Finance Operations Manager
Location: London, Docklands

Most finance roles involve joining an established department, inheriting existing systems and working within processes that have already been built.
This role is different.
Our client is a growing international technology and manufacturing business and is looking for its first dedicated UK finance hire.
You will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations of the UK business, ensuring that financial processes, controls, reporting and cash management operate effectively while acting as the key link between the UK operation and the Group Finance team overseas.
You will have the opportunity to help shape how the UK finance function operates as the business continues to grow.
What you will do
Take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations of the UK business
Manage cash flow, banking, payments, working capital and core transactional finance
Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end activity and financial reporting
Monitor costs, commitments and variances, providing clear management information to support decision-making
Establish and maintain effective financial controls, approval processes and governance
Work closely with Procurement, Operations and Manufacturing to support financial planning and control
Manage external finance xgikmsk relationships, statutory requirements and the continued development of finance and ERP systems
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who has experience managing financial operations within a commercial organisation, rather than someone whose experience has been focused solely on bookkeeping or accounting.
