About the Role As Editor, you'll be responsible for planning, commissioning, writing and editing content across our website, newsletters, digital magazines and event publications.
You'll own the editorial calendar, identify stories that matter to our audience, and ensure everything we publish is accurate, engaging and aligned with the brand.
You'll work closely with our writers, designers, marketing team and commercial colleagues to deliver high-quality content that reflects the latest developments across the industries we cover.
You'll also help maintain our editorial standards by reviewing copy, providing feedback to contributors, and continually looking for ways to improve the quality and performance of our content.
Duties include: Set and own the editorial vision, voice, and strategy for Startups Magazine, as well as contributing similarly to both Electronic Specifier and Procurement Pro titles.
Support with long-term content planning across print, digital, podcast, events, and social channels Define and uphold editorial standards company-wide, including commissioning frameworks, tone of voice, and ethical guidelines Identify emerging industry trends in tech and audience needs, translating them into editorial priorities Approve and oversee major editorial projects and content campaigns Establish processes for editorial planning, production, and quality assurance Work at a senior level with sales, marketing, and events leadership to align editorial output with commercial objectives, contributing to regular development meetings Lead the development of new revenue-generating editorial products, including whitepapers, sponsored series, webinars, and branded content Drive audience growth and engagement across all platforms, reporting to Managing Editor on KPIs and performance Contribute to the company’s SEO strategy, setting targets, directing technical and editorial SEO priorities, and ensuring performance is tracked and reported at a senior level Act as the public face and authoritative editorial voice of the company across the industry, for all publications.

Chair and moderate events and panels, as well as conducting video interviews.
