About the role
We’re looking for a Junior Data Analyst or Data Scientist to join our growing Data team. While the role will primarily focus on risk-related projects and analytics , you’ll also contribute to a broad range of data initiatives across the business. You’ll collaborate closely with analysts and data engineers to align back-end data structures with the front-end needs of the business. This role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders, giving you the chance to turn data insights into tangible business impact and help drive meaningful change.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards to support business visibility and decision-making (with an initial focus on risk)
- Build scalable code by integrating multiple data sources to support reporting and analysis
- Analyze data to identify trends, success indicators, and performance insights that inform key business decisions
- Support the automation and streamlining of manual risk reporting processes to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data quality and accuracy
- Contribute to data governance and data management practices to maintain high standards of data integrity across teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related discipline
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming large and varied datasets, and experience in at least one programming language (Python or R)
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
- Demonstrated advanced analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, identify key trends, and generate actionable insights in clear PowerPoint presentations
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality
- A proactive and curious mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
