Overview
As Senior Technical Artist, you enable efficient content creation for EA SPORTS F1 by building and maintaining artist-facing tools and pipelines. You collaborate with artists, designers and engineers to scale workflows and implement reliable tooling across production. You’ll evaluate AI-assisted tools and guide teams on productive, secure usage. You mentor technical artists, elevating pipeline practices across studios. This role combines creativity with technical impact in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain artist-facing tools and pipelines using Python and 3ds Max; support additional DCC apps and proprietary tech
- Collaborate with artists, designers and engineers to add features and improve workflows' reliability, usability and efficiency
- Evaluate and promote responsible use of AI-assisted tools to boost productivity while ensuring quality, security and clear ownership
- Mentor technical artists and content creators, sharing knowledge and establishing tooling best practices across teams
Key requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in technical art, tools development, or pipeline development
- Experience developing production tools using Python, MAXScript, or equivalent scripting language
- Experience maintaining and supporting content pipelines connected to a real-time game engine
- Experience with a digital content creation application such as 3ds Max or Maya
