Our Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team is an important part of our development process, delivering relevant insights that support our game teams to improve software performance and enhance gameplay.

Reporting to the Development Director II, as a Quality Designer II, you will be part of the Quality Verification (QV) team that helps deliver and protect the revenue for Golf Clash.
You will act as a feature owner and subject matter expert for key team deliverables, enhancing the gameplay experience by integrating new technologies and driving test automation as well as process improvements within the QV operations.
Responsibilities
- Re-establish senior onsite Quality Verification leadership in Manchester by owning feature and live-service quality strategy, embedding risk-based quality input earlier in planning, production, feature development, and release-readiness decisions, and strengthening product-health visibility through reporting and analytics.
- Reinforce the Manchester-Hyderabad operating model by improving context sharing, aligning expectations and standards, partnering with Hyderabad Engineering on automation, AI-enabled workflows and scalable tooling, and mentoring contributors across both locations to build a more analytics-driven quality culture.
- Be involved in an extensive hands-on testing routine to ensure full knowledge of the title under test at all times and be prepared to extend immediate testing requirements to the local development team.
- Designing and executing advanced manual and automated test suites that provide extensive coverage across your areas of responsibility.
- Interpreting product-level data and adapting existing metrics or KPIs to continuously raise quality requirements.
- Building advanced, accurate reports leveraging multiple data sources to deliver targeted insights to project stakeholders.
- Taking a data-driven approach to test prioritization, basing decisions on live patterns, telemetry, and unique product factors.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, collaborative, and communication skills to engage effectively with development teams in a fast paced, Live environment.
- Experience using data to engineer informed testing solutions and prioritize daily workflows in collaboration with leadership.
- Ability to build strategic cross-functional relationships and develop test plans that incorporate alternative validation methods (data, telemetry, and automation).
- Active contribution to the Quality Designer (QD) community goals by owning initiatives, delivering outputs, and proactively engaging peers for feedback.
- A champion of collaboration who consults with the right subject matter experts to achieve broader craft goals.
- Tools & Hardware: Hands-on experience with defect tracking software (preferably Jira), QA planning tools, and Mobile platforms.
- Testing & Documentation: Skilled in writing comprehensive test plans and cases using black, grey, and white box testing practices.
- Domain Expertise: Exposure to Mobile games and associated development ideologies.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills to clearly report testing progress and status to team members and management.
