We are seeking a Software Engineer (Backend) to help design and implement backend systems powering next-generation social and gaming experiences. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who is passionate about backend development, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work closely with senior engineers to build reliable, scalable, and performant services that reach millions of players worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs that support live and social features.
- Implement features from design through to deployment, working under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Support DevOps/SRE efforts by maintaining CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems.
- Continuously learn and improve, developing technical depth in backend systems and cloud services.
- Delivery of reliable, well-tested backend features aligned with project goals.
- Contribution to team productivity and code quality standards.
- Effective collaboration with peers and cross-functional partners.
- Demonstrated growth in technical skills and ownership over time.
- 2–4+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Proficiency in C#/.NET, with working knowledge of cloud-based environments (AWS or equivalent).
- Experience building API-driven services that integrate with frontends or mobile clients.
- Good familiarity with databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB).
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows, testing, and debugging tools.
- Awareness of scalability, reliability, and security considerations in distributed systems.
