The Global Communications team, within the integrated marketing department, is a visible and crucial role. We are looking for an EU Product Communications Lead for the The Sims franchise for a 12‑month temporary position, hybrid remote/in‑office from our Lyon or Guildford studio.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Global Communications team and Regional Brand teams, along with EU PR agencies across the organization to lead multifaceted plans and creative communication strategies for the Sims franchise, ensuring they resonate across the regions.
  • Help to ensure the powerful messages and storylines we deliver through PR meet the business and communication needs of international markets.
  • Ensure accurate feedback on local executions to the global communications leads and Senior Manager.
  • Coordinate and support respective agencies to pitch and place work in national, regional, and local news outlets.
  • Deliver reports on important campaign beats for each franchise giving both country breakdowns and a Pan‑EU overview.
  • Communicate with internal partners on upcoming content and activations.
  • Coordinate and share best practices and innovations with the wider integrated communications team and brand partners, highlighting personal and team successes and insights.
  • Provide insight into hot topics within the press to help develop messaging.
  • Guide the franchise EU PR teams with their cross‑portfolio PR activations and general processes.
  • Support the EU PR agency management with the implementation of annual reviews and any best practices.
  • Guide a local PR agency when there is a need.

Qualifications

  • Technical skills
    • 5+ years of experience in communications, strategic media relations or public relations in multiple international territories.
    • Measure PR efforts with monitoring tools to provide data‑informed actions.
    • Experience interpreting press feedback to make relevant recommendations.
    • Planning, organizational, and task/project management abilities.
    • Written and verbal communication skills in English, able to present plans and concepts in English.
    • Familiar with collaborating in a global environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree (or similar) in Communications or Marketing, but not essential.
