This is a 12-month contract which is a hybrid remote/in-office role based in Southam or Birmingham.
The Licensing Liaison Associate supports the development team making F1. Reporting to the Licensing team, you will secure brand license clearances and help collate licensed content. Additionally, the Associate obtains licensing approvals, to help our development team create authentic, licensed content.
Responsibilities:- Secure permissions/negotiate best contract terms for gratis in-game assets.
- Partner with Legal & Business Affairs team to draft agreements/amendments.
- Source & build licensing and research contacts network and share with Team.
- Advise game team of main risks to the licensing schedule and propose possible solutions.
- Record licensing progress in Content Trackers ensuring it is up to date.
- Maintain first class working relationships with external partners and company partners.
- Respond to requests for technical and statistical research information ensuring in all cases the information is delivered within any agreed timescales.
- Coordinate Licensing data transfer, maintaining accuracy.
- Work with game teams (especially Design and Production) to present feature integration decks to licensors so that they provide context on how they will use their properties in game.
- Collate details of licensors wishing to work with our Marketing Team.
- Organize licensing reference information, always maintaining and keeping it up to date.
- Obtain quotations and coordinate freelance work & items to fulfil research requirements.
- You will have experience within licensing and research, within similar role in gaming and entertainment.
- Collaboration skills working across multi-discipline teams on large projects.
- You will be experienced in project management and working across a variety of multi-discipline teams.
