This is a Hybrid remote/in-office role based in our Birmingham, UK studio.
Our award-winning Codemasters studio is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the F1 team. You’ll be part of a team delivering ‘AAA’ racing games within a studio that will value and recognize your contributions. You will help to re-invent and shape Codemasters’ boldest F1 racing title ever, from its creation to a genre-defining experience.
Reporting to the F1 Senior Creative Director, the Senior Product Manager's role is to help shape the success of our game through data analysis and cross-team collaboration, ensuring that we deliver a compelling experience for our players throughout the live service period.
Responsibilities:
– Define and manage product indicators, reporting on the state of the product to key stakeholders.
– Initiate and advocate for live services features and campaigns through the product's lifecycle that target improvements in the KPIs.
– Collaborate with the live operations team on all feature work, ensuring that it has clear and measurable goals that are guided by business and project objectives.
– Partner with analysts to conduct analysis of in-game features using data insights to measure their impact on important indicators.
– Contribute to defining the long-term live service strategy for the franchise.
– Promote main data and findings to the wider team to ensure that all future work utilises best practices in its implementation and can be supported in the live service phase.
– You will seek out opportunities for experimentation and developing the product using a data-driven approach.
Here's what you will need:
– 3+ years of games industry experience, designing live service content and campaigns that maximise commerce, acquisition and retention.
– A passion for games with a focus on player insights and interests.
– Experience using data and insights to inform product development, being able to interpret data and trends to measure outcomes against agreed targets.
– Experience working in a cross-team development environment.
– Confidence to present ideas and sell your vision to team members and other key stakeholders.
– A broad understanding of live services strategies across the gaming sector.
– Knowledge of the F1 sport and gaming franchise is a bonus.
