This is a hybrid remote/in-office role based in our Birmingham, UK studio. A remote role may be considered for those within the EU.
Our award-winning Codemasters studio is looking for a Lead VFX Engineer to join the F1 team. Working in a passionate close-knit team with other engineers, designers and content creators, we’ll make sure your voice doesn’t get lost in the crowd. You’ll be part of a team delivering ‘AAA’ racing games within a studio that will value and recognize your contributions. You will help to re-invent and shape Codemasters’ boldest F1 racing title ever, from its creation to a genre-defining experience.
Our VFX Engineers help bring the game’s visually rich real-world environments and characters to life. They are responsible for all technical aspects of the visual effects within the game, including particle systems and atmospheric effects. The focus is on delivering the vision of the VFX art and design teams to build remarkable racing games in a realistic and believable virtual world.
