About Electron
We are building the digital foundations for an affordable, reliable, and clean energy system. We provide utilities, grid operators, and organisers providing flexibility with high impact Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms to unlock grid capacity, manage constraints, and effectively coordinate Distributed Energy Resources (DERs)—such as wind, solar, and battery storage.
Our core offerings include:
- ElectronConnect, the Flexibility Market Platform: Operating at the forefront of the energy transition, our platform is used by 50% of the UK's Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) to run their local flexibility services. We have already enabled over 7 GWh of flexibility, helping networks connect more customers faster, avoid unnecessary physical infrastructure upgrades, and ultimately reduce long-term consumer bills. It is also utilized by other progressive industry actors for novel flexibility use cases, such as absorbing excess renewable energy to prevent curtailment and allowing faster access to the grid for low carbon technologies.
- ElectronCompass, our grid analytics platform, used by multiple US utilities to gain deeper insights into their networks. We have analysed over 40 billion meter data points for DER detection and transformer loading analysis, providing our customers with key insights to support management of their networks and energy assets.
Our mission is to help accelerate the global transition to Net Zero by making green energy more accessible, reducing system costs, and creating highly resilient electricity grids worldwide. Backed by key industry leaders, we are rapidly scaling our presence and impact across both Europe and North America.
Why Join Electron?
- We Build Things That Matter: You will be directly contributing to solutions that combat climate change and redesign how the energy grid interacts with renewable technology.
- Innovative Culture: We encourage bold ideas, creative problem-solving, and trail-blazing solutions to highly complex physical and digital challenges.
- Our Core Values:
- Care Fiercely: For each other, our customers, and our planet.
- Have Grit: Grid-scale transition is slow and complex; we persist with passion and humor.
- Blaze Trails: We lead the energy sector forward, unafraid to challenge status quos.
- Empathise to Empower: We celebrate diversity, support each other, and grow together.
The Role
We're looking for an organised, customer-focused Implementation Manager to join our Product team, supporting us across three key focus areas:
- ElectronConnect: Customer Onboarding instead, we operate in flat, highly connected teams where cross-functional collaboration is second nature. Working within the Product team, which is headed up by our CPO, you will work closely with our Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams, acting as the critical bridge that translates client needs into technical and operational success.
We work in a highly agile environment, allowing us to pivot quickly as we scale into new global markets. We value high autonomy and personal accountability. While we solve complex problems together, you will have ownership and responsibility for your part of the delivery puzzle, supported by a collaborative, mission-driven team.
What We Offer
- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience, with the ability to participate in the success of the company through our share option scheme
- Flexible working: Hybrid model with 2 days/week in our London office (Chancery Lane)
- Benefits: Pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Impact: Work on technology that's directly enabling the clean energy transition and helping achieve net-zero
- Culture: Collaborative, learning-focused team where knowledge sharing and continuous improvement are core values
