What you’ll be doing
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the Country Manager UK and Ireland to set annual targets and strategies, plan territorial approaches, implement directives, and adjust priorities to deliver results.
- Commercial & Contract Management: Lead complex negotiations, secure new business, manage commercial contracts, and liaise with Credit Control to establish terms including discounts, payment schedules, and warranties.
- Partner & Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong communication with Strategic Partners, continuously improve customer relations, and work cross-functionally to share leads and cross-sell opportunities.
- Sales Team & Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with Laundry Sales and Commercial Teams, utilize matrix capabilities to optimize results, and ensure alignment across the group.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyze and present results at various levels, prepare market and competition reports, manage pipeline, and maintain an effective CRM with targeted follow-up actions.
- Training, Events & Brand Representation: Attend product training seminars, participate in regional and national exhibitions, and represent the brand effectively in all external engagements.
What’s needed for you to thrive
- Education & Experience: Degree in Economics / BA or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of proven success in Sales.
- Commercial & Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiating skills, good understanding of commercial contracts, and strong aptitude for implementing new category-related concepts in a commercial organization.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability in critical and strategic thinking, strong self-motivation, and aptitude to perform effectively within a matrix organization.
- Teamwork & Independence: Able to contribute to a team environment while maintaining independence in own responsibilities, and capable of establishing credibility through knowledge and enthusiasm.
- Market & Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the local market; knowledge in professional laundry appliances is an asset.
- Technical & Operational Competence: Proficiency with Office 365, digital analytics tools, and CRM applications, along with a current, valid UK driving license.
