- QUALITY & TECHNICAL HELPDESK MANAGER– Washing Machine & Food
The Quality and Technical Helpdesk Manager is responsible for leading our in-house technical helpdesk comprising of 6 engineers supporting our commercial laundry and food business.
As well as working with the manufacturing and quality teams in Italy, France and Sweden.
The role ensures products meet the highest quality standards while delivering exceptional technical support to customers, service engineers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
You will need to be a team player with an eye for detail, problem solving and a drive to offer our customers the type of service they would be happy to recommend.
This is a hybrid role, 60% working in our offices in Luton and 40% field/home working.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading our Technical Helpdesk team
- Monitoring KPIs and ensuring compliance with company standards
- Manage the technical teams field activities
- Provide support and technical solutions to customer product related escalation
- Manage quality systems, inspections, audits, complaints, technical escalations, and warranty investigations
- Support and drive root cause analysis
- Collaborate with UK and global teams in reviewing and proposing quality and process improvements
- Manage the UK in house technical training programs for our partners
- Collaborate with Engineering teams, Factories, Partners, Service teams, and Supply Chain teams to improve product quality, reliability, and serviceability.
- Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of commercial laundry and/or food industry

- Experience in managing engineering teams
- Experience in quality management and reporting
