All about the role
Partner closely with the Head of D2C CA West to shape, coordinate and execute the Direct‑to‑Consumer (D2C) strategy for the UK & Ireland. You will drive commercial performance, optimise the consumer journey and support the successful delivery of local initiatives across multiple digital touchpoints. This is a high‑impact, cross‑functional role where you will collaborate with Marketing, Logistics, Demand Planning, Finance, Customer Care and various D2C specialists to ensure excellence in execution. What you’ll do
- Support and execute the UK & Ireland D2C commercial strategy to achieve key performance targets.
- Manage and optimise the commercial performance of brand websites and secondary sales channels, including marketplaces, affiliates and brand partnerships.
- Act as a key commercial partner to D2C specialists and cross‑functional teams, providing alignment, focus and insights (no direct line management).
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Web teams to deliver excellence in merchandising, campaigns and conversion optimisation.
- Coordinate with external partners such as paid media and creative agencies, ensuring high‑quality briefing, review and optimisation.
- Work with Product Management and Category teams to implement promotional plans and category growth initiatives.
- Drive digital marketing performance, including SEO, SEM, paid media, social and display.
- Analyse performance and consumer data to identify optimisation opportunities and improve the end‑to‑end consumer experience.
- Prepare and facilitate weekly and monthly commercial reviews for local, regional and central stakeholders.
- Partner with Demand Planning to secure stock availability and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects, from planning to execution, ensuring timelines and requirements are met.
- Identify risks, anticipate challenges and support effective decision‑making in high‑paced or high‑pressure situations.
- Stay updated on e‑commerce and D2C trends, continuously testing new ideas and improving ways of working.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in e‑commerce, D2C or consumer goods.
- Strong experience in cross‑functional, matrixed organisations.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, e‑commerce environments and online merchandising.
- Strong knowledge of SEO/SEM and paid media.
- Excellent analytical skills; experience with Google Analytics, Power BI or Content Square is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience managing multiple projects or programs concurrently.
- Structured, organised and comfortable in a fast‑changing environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Data‑driven, proactive and resilient.
- Comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment.
